Our Team will Contact You

Once your surgery or procedure has been scheduled, a nurse from our Pre-Admission Testing Department will call you to review your health history and current medication. You will also receive a call from our Patient Registration Department to confirm your registration information and to provide a cost estimate based on your insurance benefits. On the day prior to surgery, you will receive a call from our OR scheduling team to inform you of the time you should arrive for your procedure.

At any time, please feel free to ask any questions or share any concerns you have.

Patient Identification Number (PIN)

At South County Hospital, we value the privacy of patient health information. To ensure confidentiality, we assign a four-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) upon a patient’s admission to the hospital. If you would like a friend or family member to receive information about your medical condition, please share this PIN with them. We encourage designating one family member or friend who can receive regular updates and share with other friends and family members.

Friends or family members who would like updates about your condition may call the main hospital line at 401-782-8000 and share the correct PIN to get status updates about your health.
