South County Hospital's obstetrical program is designed to meet your needs and address your concerns. As your pregnancy progresses, you will learn about changes taking place in your body, advice on exercise and nutrition appropriate for a particular month, labor, delivery, postpartum care, and much more.

During your first obstetrical visit, you will receive a free copy of Your Pregnancy and Childbirth Month-to-Month, a comprehensive book that encourages you to be informed about your pregnancy and empowers you to work with your doctor or midwife as an active participant and decision-maker during one of the most fulfilling times in your life.
